Creativity has always been in my blood, but my journey into ceramics began just a year ago and I’ve been completely hooked ever since. After selling my business in the catering industry, I knew I needed to step away from the rat race and embrace a slower, more fulfilling way of life.
Now, living in Lancashire overlooking the rolling hills into Yorkshire, I’m surrounded by wildlife and a peaceful landscape that deeply inspires my work.
I love to experiment, working with both wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques to create a mix of functional and sculptural pieces. Glaze exploration is a huge part of my process and I’m always layering colours and textures to see how they interact, adding depth and individuality to each piece.
Alongside my ceramics, drawing and painting have always been a quiet but constant passion. My artwork often captures moments of stillness, nature, and architecture—drawn from the places and things I feel deeply connected to. Whether it's an old building, a figure from the imagination, or the hills I call home, each piece holds a story. Like my pottery, every drawing is personal—rooted in feeling, memory, and curiosity.
